RIP DJ AM
A highly talented DJ has left this world.
Some refer to this summer as the summer the grim reaper was taking soul despite their status.
I refer to it as the year of completion for some, and destruction for others.
It's sad he survived a plan crash only to die less than a year later of a possible overdose.
Perhaps, his pain and suffering is over.

queer/lesbian
I feel like there's a difference between being queer and being a lesbian.
There's a certain defensiveness when it comes to this life - it feels like you spend half your life arguing that your homosexuality is more than how you express your gender and how you love the one you're with.
It feels like ...

You've got one crowd that wants to build, and one crowd that wants to tear down.
Are we women/genderqueers who love success, academia, and camaraderie, or are we
clones of the heterosexual community?
On that note, I leave a video from blak/womyn
Senator Ted Kennedy
Anyone who follows politics will tell you, there are politicians that are for the people, and politicks from the people. After many Politics Science classes detailing the accomplishments of those we have elected and supported over the years. Amongst those whom America respects is the late Ted Kennedy. For a man who had to bury both of his brothers and nephew amongst other I respect his strength - and tenacity.
As the liberal lion of the senate of the Senate; he fought for several things
- secured an increase in the minimum wage law
- helped to create the Health Insurance Portability and Accountability Act
- Children's Health Insurance Program CHIP a program that keeps children insured and healthy.
- Instating the voting age of 18

RIP. Be amongst your brothers and nephew in a Reunion.
